Award-winning artist & poet based in Islamabad, Pakistan. Currently serving as curator at Islamabad Art Gallery.
As an artist based in Islamabad, Pakistan, my work engages with social and feminist issues, using color, form, and portraiture to spark reflection and change. Through my organization, RASTAY, I have conducted workshops in juvenile jails, worked with underprivileged communities, and created projects that raise awareness about honor killings, femicide, and religious intolerance in Pakistan.
Currently working at Islamabad Art Gallery, I curate and organize exhibitions and events that foster social dialogue, including a Women’s Day event and a national exhibition in March 2026 that brought together artists from across Pakistan. Beyond my visual art, I am a published Urdu poet and find inspiration in literature and the natural world, especially plants.
